Map type : large peace scenario with multiple eco goals to reach in limited time.
Orkney islands : Your father in law, the pict King Uuradach Gurthinmoch, is dead. Saddly his son is very young and situation is bad. Weakened by plague,
invasions from hibernia, punitives expeditions from Caledonia 's pict's kings, and Vikings's pressure, Orkney islands are close to collapse. Wisely, to
avoid an ill advised succession quarrel, Pictish nobles chose you, noble Scottish knight from Dál Riata as regent.
Your mission is to insure picts's country integrity, defend the territory and recover lost lands. You have also to prepare a prestigious
feast for the new king coronation, as well as guarantie for him an healthy and secure realm. You will have to work hard to collect stone for future
fortifications, and made enough weapons for a strong army. Aside this you will have to store all that need for the crown ceremonial.
Feel free to demolish all pieces of fortitication or buildings you feel inapropriated or misplaced.
This map was made under the beta test. I turned it into an economic map with time limit to succeed. v1.41 cause trouble for the war scenario it was at start. After a moment player's troops does not respond any orders from time to time. It s also the reason you will need troops only in the first
half time, the second one will be peacefull.

Picts had a stone quarrie on the west, however this quarrie is now cut off from you because of brigands activities.
The best thing to do, actually, is probably to scuttle this production 's unit. The other precious ressources, iron, is on the south.
Sadly brigand settle in the area to control iron trade. Iron mines didn't survived in the process. Like often brigands made their home in woodlands.
Really they control the two lone forest of the island.
Buy with honor the western fief. Use it to send you wood and ale. Lets ennemy buy the south one, then annex it. Use the south fief to send you food and cloth.
Do not hesitate to build several hovels and chariot post in any fief.
Destroy quickly both bandits camp, even using your lord to help for the second one if casualties were important destroying the first one.
How did you manage to get control of yellow troops??

in stronghold they was use some java program and they was changed couple codes here is same only codes mroe hard to faind but tis posible you can see that in freebiuld mission when you take william control and get dark red color :)
and i think this map i see not first time hmm

Orkney eco was first made under the beta test editor. I dont remember exactly but such things like manage different colour troops would be, at this time, less difficult. I dont think anyway I used hexadecimal editor to do this Like I often did at SH1.
Orkney eco was based on an other map which was an invasion. However I used for it the save to map trick, that was common at this time. Sadly it seems update like v1.4.1 cause critical problem to map that use this trick. Players troops become static and uncontrolable. Like it was a very old map, I reworked it to deliver a playable economic version.
