If your a pessimist like me, You would look at the Spearman in Stronghold 2 and think "My god! They look like complete Idiots!".
So, if you are like you and its pure torture to have to look at the Spearman, here's the solution!
This mod gives Spearman a nice new coat of armor making them look a bit more professional and elite. Although this mod does not change the Spearman's suck-ish stats, it does make you feel like your army is a little bit better.
The following is were you are supposed to place this mod assuming you didn't change the placing during installation. And remember BACK UP YOUR FILES, If you are dumb and you forget to though, I have provided a backup in the download folder--
Looks great, they don't look like throw-aways anymore :)

Did you copy the file that said spearman.dds in the download folder. And then pasted it in Computer/C:/Program Files/Firefly Studios/Stronghold2/Meshes/Units. Make sure you put it under UNITS. If it doesn't say "Are you sure you want to replace?" or something like that, it didn't work.

NO you don't have to delete anything. The only thing that might have caused that is you not putting it in the right place, OR you turned the graphics way down. The picture I have here is when the graphics is set to high.

Not bad, but you fell into the same trap I did while working on my Rome Mod. You can't go over crests, and when seen in closely, the black looks a bit odd. Nice job though!

Yeah, the back does look kind of weird. But I'm kind of glad the colors stayed the same, otherwise, how would you know who's troops are whose?
