Spearman
These readily available troops are relatively fast moving and cheap to churn out, their speed aids in digging moats and for the tricky task of removing enemy ladders from the walls.

Swordsman
Being so heavily armoured like pikemen they are extremely slow but when in combat they quickly show that they are elite warriors having both a superb defence and attack.

Thief
These ellusive units have the ability to hide themsleves as farmers and steal gold from your treasury. They are fast moving and carry a sword for hand to hand comabt. Thieves can be spotted and reprimanded by guards but can also be uncovered manually by clicking on them. Just be careful if your farmers are spending too much time near the treasury! They do have a high honour cost to hire them.

Warrior Monk
Trained to fight hard for their religion these troops are heavily armoured and very handy with a sword and shield. They are very cheap in gold cost but only very honourable Lords will be able to maintain a large force of them.
