In a hidden meadow on the rolling forested hummocks south of La Rochelle, a mysterious ring of thirteen huge stones encircles six boulders arranged in, some say, a pentagram with a sacrificial altar in the center. It somewhat resembles the ancient Stonehenge rocks across the sea in England, but this structure appeared only in recent years.
No one seems to know the site’s origin or purpose. Though no one has witnessed any activities actually taking place at the monument, rumors rage among the peasants: that it is a an altar for human sacrifices, that the stones were arranged there by Lucifer himself, that the Knights Templar conduct secret obscene naked rituals among the stones led by Grand Master Jacques de Molay himself. The peasants fear the worst - the unknown.
A group of Cistercian monks seeks to rebuild an abandoned monastery near your estate to study the mysterious Ring of 13 Stones, divine its purpose, and wield the power of faith against it if it is, indeed, evil.
But they are harrassed by a band of outlaws raiding from an encampment in the forest not far away. The monks need supplies and protection from you to fulfill their mission.
Aiding the monks by providing building materials from your stores and ridding the province of the outlaws - along with the marauding hungry wolves that terrorize the countryside - will not only gain favor for you in the after-kingdom, but it opens unimpeded access to the rich resources of the surrounding villages if your honor merits it.

Feedback and guidance appreciated...this is my first map creation.
Playability: 4
(This map was very fun to play however it could have been a little harder.)
Balance: 5
(The balance was very good you gave the player just enough stone, wood and iron to make the map fun.)
Creativity: 5
(This was a very creative map for your first one. I like how you used the waterfalls, and the way you made the island in between the two rivers!)
Map Design: 4
(The map design was very good! However you could have used more ground textures.)
Story/Instructions: 5
(The story was very creative.)
Additional Comments: Considering that this was your first map WELL DONE! I enjoyed playing this map and look forward to playing more of your maps in the future! PS: I noticed the rocks. :)

Was very nice, but the wolves were a problem, they destroyed about everything. Same with the bears on the southern right corner
Balance: 5
Very balanced map, with an interesting challenge

Very well made, but the middle road to the castle town wasnt used by AI or by my troops. Only thing that used it was the bandits and they usually did that once per game.
Story/Instructions: 5
Not much of a story but I usually give ppl 5 if they have something in this area anyway :D.
