The Italy resembling map is fun, but limited. While the spaces are a little small, having 8 players doesn't help. If you don't mind having VERY small towns, you won't be bothered. But, you space hogging people out there might not enjoy this too much.
Balance: 3
This amount of space each player gets is pretty much even, but others have defensive advantages over a few places. Some also have space advantages.

It was a very good idea to make a map that corresponds to Italy. I bet by the end of this year every country will have been covered. :p Anyways, nice idea to do this!

Nothing to spectacular. A few historical landmarks would have been cool. The map is VERY accurate in it's cloning. Nice job on that!
Story/Instructions: 3
No real story is needed for this map since it is a replica of Italy. Enough said, although a little bit of backround information would have been nice.
Additional Comments: Nice job on precisely mapping Italy with SH2. You should think about making some more country resembling maps. Just wish it was possible to provide more building space.

I love the maps of real places (land bridges aside) The Italy resembling map is fun. The spaces are small and having played with 8 opponents I can say it was cramped. If you don't mind having small towns, you won't be disappointed. But, huge, elaborate castles are out of the question...
Balance: 4
This amount of space each player gets is pretty much even. Some opponents have defensive advantages and that skews the balance a bit...

It was a good idea to make a map that corresponds to Italy. I enjoy somewhat accurate maps of real places...

Spectacular! A Little flatter in places would have been nice... Choke points skew the balance a bit. When you can seize the narrows and hold off a superior force with a few qrchers and knights I think it's time to edit the map but otherwise a great map!
Story/Instructions: 3
No story is needed for this map since it is a rendition of Italy.
Additional Comments: Nice job on precisely mapping Italy. Fun and challenging but again those narrow choke points detract a little from the gameplay...A+++ Definitely a keeper in my atlas!

After defeating all AI opponents there was no victory message, which was surprising at first but allowed for an extra half hour of game play. Bringing troops home and managing estates.
Anyway, the map was cramped and required resourcefulness but was still fun. Some of the building sites might have been tough due to other castles so close by... However I started at the bottom which was probably the easiest to defend and spent a few hours. Still fun, looks really cool and the mini map looks very similar to a real map. Good job.
