This map is nice and fun to play on, plenty of room to build your castle, heaps of estates to control that are easy to protect! Great for when you don't want to worry about protecting your estates much (a little mountain range and your castle walls seperate them from the other player and bandits).
Player starting points have wood and stone, all the rest (swamp and iron) are on estates pretty close to your castle, and those estates are also heaps easy to protect. No player has any real advantage over the other, playing space is roughly about the same.
I liked the idea of bandits occupying the only entrance to your castle, they attack you most of the time, but also attack the other player, so its a good buffer until your ready to seriously start killing people! They provide some early on entertainment while you set up your castle.

The stone and iron resources don't look very natural looking, and the roads could have looked a bit nicer, they sort of stood out abit. The bandit camps were laid out nicely though.
No story, no minimap, description of the map is minimal, but tells it how it is.
Nice map, estates and castle lands are in strange shapes, sometimes confusing, but its a pretty good 1v1 map. Great for when you can't be bothered worrying about people constantly capturing your estates!
