Have you ever wanted to know:
How much do peasants actually eat?
How many farms you actually need to build?
Which food source puts out the most food per worker?
Which food source is the most space efficient?
Is using ale to keep your people happy better than double rations, etc?
This guide goes into great depth just about every aspect of running a castle's economy in stronghold 2. I wouldn't be at all surprised to find that even veterans of the series can learn a few things.
I hope someone finds all the testing I did on these subjects to be useful.
Hi! Thankyou for this; it is very useful and gives an actually suprisingly interesting read. Of course, it is very long so I have not inspected every single word, but I've taken a good look at a few aspects. I never knew a lord could Kill 52 peasants mounted, haha. It would be interesting if you had numbers per inedvidual unit on how many of every unit they could kill. I know it takes about 3 knights to kill a lord, about 10 swordsmen etc.
Also, I took off points only because its in Notepad form. I understand it might be the simplest way to reach most audiences (if someone doesn't have Notepad god help there soul xD), but it isn't convenient for such an extensive, long and weathly guide. Other then that, GREAT job!

I found the calculations correct and its really usefull. If someone learns the most important things and can balance them: Get as many food from the place as you can and the limited place exhausting, then he/she will be a master player.
Really good. Just I dont like notepad. If you may can edit ti do windows world pad or a bit mor graphical program. Thats why I took a half point off. Overall its a really usefull, and I printed it and hold it while playing :D
Sorry for typing mistakes. Im kinda bad in english.
