I always hated how incredibly stupid the SH2 Spearmen sounded.
Yea they aren't supposed to be really bright, but in SH and SH:C they sounded... Dim, without being unmanly, and (no offence) retarded.
So I converted all the original SH Spearmen Voice Overs, to SH2.
It works fine, except, that there where less VOs' in SH for them then there where in SH2, so they don't have as much variety in what they say as they normally do in SH2.
There is one bug, admittedly a rather big one, but I couldn't find a way to fix it.
None of the attack sounds work, like when you order them to attack enemy troops, there is no sound, not the old one, not the new one.
I figured I'd go ahead and release it, I still enjoy it, and thought others might too.
Inside the ZIP is a Self Extracting Archive, for ease of installation.
The automatic install location should work on all computers, unless your copy of SH2 is installed on a drive named something other then C:
If it's on another dive, simply change the drive name listed in the install location field.
If you can help with that bug, please Email me at: celeb1117ATsotghomeDOTcom
The reason it didn't work is because you either didnt put them in the right place or there was a mistake in the download. If it still doesn't work when you retry it, try downloading winrar.
My 'New Spearmen' mod has the voices from Legends and the spearmen from legends. Nice job, though.

This mod is brilliant as it gets rid of the default speech which i have always wished to improve and uses the amazing speech of the original
what makes this mod even better is its auto install once downloaded and activated
