2 allies have brought a stop to the advance of Siegfried into the lands of Zin.
Siegfried has built a defensive Palace for his advancing armies, which now rest before they are attacked again.
We will Fight to the death
This map looks and plays like a Mini campaign,
Some guidelines on game play:
Better if played 2or3 vs 1 with Arthur and vlad attacking Sieg
If you like defending play against AIs first (you in the Palace) get a feel for the Palace
If you like attack the AI's put up a little bit of a battle and you can work on attacking strats.
There is plenty of room and all resources for the attackers.
Attackers will have a tough battle making it to the keep, in the games I have played, Good players got about half way through the Ice Palace in about 1 to 2 hours.
Palace and economy are 75% built
NO weapon producing buildings are built
I never leave Siegs land except small raiding parties (10 or less troops), just to dissrupt economy of attackers.
There are numerous hidden defensive weapons to harrass the attackers and a few of them can even disrupt small areas of the attackers economy.
Non-accessable embattlements
Buildings can be destroyed but once attackers are far enough away can be rebuilt.
Numerous Ice caves (13)
All 3 factions types of Castle defenses & units
(I call it stolen technology)
how the mini map faction layout is how the terrain looks the best.

I need honest reviews with details so that I can update the version of the map.
This is the second map in the series
First map is called "Warring factors of Zin"
It is just bare land with many defensive areas to build
Ill DL it tonight.
3rd map "Factions of Zin III.3 Vlads Fortress"
map is 90% complete just fine tuning it, then I will post in DL area.
4th map "Factions of Zin IV Arthurs Camelot"
"COMING SOON" ok it takes me a couple of weeks to make the maps. |

Playability: 5
This map is a marvelously fun siege that can keep three people busy trying (likely in vain) to assault a massive stronghold that has them outdone at nearly every angle. Three vs. One as an Eco-War where the palace owner must get the set goods before being destroyed by the three allied lords is probably the most fun mode you can play on Siegfried's Palace.
Balance: 4.5
The resources are balanced well, and the castle is designed well enough to withstand three lords if they do not plan expertly enough. The only problem is of course that the AI have no chance on this map, but being a human-purposed map, I have not marked off for this, but instead the fact that the palace owner really doesn't have hope of winning by conquest in a Deathmatch mode.
Creativity: 5
Very amazing. Prebuilt massive strongholds are a new thing on SHH itself I believe. I don't recall even any Crusader maps with this style.
Map Design: 3.5
Psycho Jester is using textures and decor better, well done. However, rivers and textures do not "flow" and "mix" well in some places still. And there are still large areas of a single texture. The forests are also a bit unnatural in some places where they're in big clumps.
Natural forests always spread out as much as they can towards the edge.
Story/Instructions: 3
A little bit of story, which is the main part of this rating, but plenty of instructions. Detailed instructions too in fact.
Additional Comments:
I did want to make note of the fact that the player owning the palace MUST play as the normal red color, or his troops will instead either dissapear or attacking him.
I don't think there is a way to remedy this situation.[Edited on 04/17/07 @ 11:13 AM]

There once was a Lord Named Tanthos, who stood on his ten toes, although he looked and looked he could not see the forest for the trees.
WHHHAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!
I will tell you the easy ones
in the Keep
right out side the Keep(For a quick escape when attacked)
By your Barracks( for quick distribution of troops)
2 on top of the lower embattlements that are unaccessable to enemies.
thats five there are eight others
